“We only have to put down our furniture and just enjoy life”

Dominique Duchenais and Eric Ferwerda from the Netherlands have decided to buy an apartment in the new development Hacienda La Leala in Torremolinos. Felicity Estates got the chance to ask them some quetions about their purchase, when they recently came to visit the plot.

You have made a reservation in an off plan-development in Torremolinos, why did you choose to buy something new/not exisiting? What are the main advantages according to you? 

- We bought something new/not existing, because everything is new. It saves a renovation and we only have to put down our furniture and just enjoy life.

I know that you are planning to move permanently to Spain, why did you take that decision?

- We have been going to Benalmádena for more than 10 years and every time we feel at home, excited and happy. We really feel sad to leave at the end of our holiday. Now we've made the decision to live there permanently, once the apartment will be ready.

You just recently came to visit the plot for the first time, how did you feel?

- We were so excited to see the plot and to realize that our dream will come true. You are the master of your fate and the captain of your destiny. And yes, sometimes you have to adjust the sails, but that doesn’t matter as long as you keep your focus.

Isn´t it difficult to imagine what the apartment and complex will look like when it´s ready?

- When we visited the model home, it was furnished almost identically to our apartment in the Netherlands, where we live now. That topped it all off for us. We received enough information about the complex to visualize the final result.

Why did you choose Torremolinos? What is it that you like best about the area?

- We love the beach and the boulevard of Torrremolinos and also the Benalmádena Puerto Marina area. It is nice to have the hustle and bustle within walking distance, but that the apartment is in a quiet area.

What are your personal recommendations to someone that wants to buy a property in Costa del Sol?

- We would recommend to make use of your office, because of your expertise, empathy, reliability and friendly approach. And we would also recommend MG Consulting. Hacienda La Leala consists of 43 units with 2, 3 and 4 bedrooms, nice terraces with seaviews, communal pool and with 2 garage spaces and a storage included in the price.
