The survey was conducted by the digital community InterNations, with just over 4 million members, and is described in the newspaper Diario Sur. The result is based on the responses from 12,000 expats, members of InterNations. The study was conducted at the beginning of the year and addresses issues such as quality of life that includes both healthy environments and digital infrastructure, ease of establishment (including language barriers and reception from local people), personal finances (eg access to public health care) and employment (job security, stability in the local economy, etc).
Málaga stands out especially when it comes to the simplicity of landing and establishing in the city and holds the first place in the department of friends and socialization.
